Payments / Credit
-
No cash payments can be accepted.
-
You must have enough credit on your account for your next lesson before it can begin.
-
If you don’t have credit on your account for your next lesson by the time it starts, the lesson may be cancelled and you could go into negative credit.
-
If no more lessons are required, due to stopping lessons or passing the test, any remaining credit will be refunded as soon as possible.
-
The 'Starter Package' is only available for beginners who have never had a driving lesson with an instructor.
Cancellations
-
Bookings must be cancelled more than 48 hours before the lesson start time, otherwise a full charge will apply.
-
If you don't show up for a lesson, I will make attempts to contact you; at 20 minutes past the agreed start time the lesson may be cancelled without refund.
-
If a lesson cancelation is my responsibility I will not charge for the lesson.
-
Do not show up to your lessons if you are unwell. If you think you’re getting sick, please cancel as far in advance as possible.
Code of Conduct for Students
-
Be respectful and polite at all times.
-
Safety is the number one priority, you must take driving seriously, stay focused and alert.
-
I expect students to put effort into learning, it takes more than just showing up to lessons to become a good driver.
-
Anything that might cause distraction or impairment must be discussed at the start of the lesson, for example: tiredness, mental or physical illness, emotional distress, hangover, medication, etc. Allowances may then be made so that the lesson can proceed if possible.
-
Discriminatory or threatening language will not be tolerated.
-
Breaches of these rules may result in ending the lesson early without refund, and potentially cancelling future lessons.
Data Protection
-
My dash-cam may be set to record in-car audio, this is for insurance and legal purposes and will only be shared with relevant organisations.
-
Any personal information provided is protected under the GDPR and never shared with third parties without permission.
